Update on what is going on:
NOTHING! Yup, that's right...Carson is comfy where he is I guess and nothing is going on down there except for he is low. I was hoping for something since yesterday I started getting lower back pain with tightening of the stomach and it was happening every so often. I'm officially off of work now. I went all day on Monday, but it was just too much for me. So I decided to take off a week earlier than planned. My doctor said that since I've been having high blood pressure that if nothing happens at 39 weeks, they might just go ahead and induce me. So I'm hoping he comes naturally without them having to do that. But I know a lot of you have been wondering about us and if any signs of labor was happening; unfortunately nothing is happening. Travis and I are really anxious though and we're trying to be patient.

An Abundance of Love
I just feel so loved and grateful for family and friends. We have been blessed with many gifts from our church family. Even after our baby shower we've been still receiving gifts. Today my school family gave me a baby shower and once again, I'm feeling blessed. Even though we all have just known each other since July, they have been wonderful to me. They are a great school family to have. They show they care by asking how I'm doing on a daily basis and offer help and assistance. So I just wanted to say THANK YOU to all my family and friends for all that you do for Travis and I!

36 weeks and counting
Today I had my doctor's appointment and all was well. My blood pressure was good (thank goodness) so I didn't have to go to triage! I asked about going back to work since I was on bed rest for a week. My doctor said since everything looks good, I could go back to work...but she wanted me to get blood work done to just make sure everything is good. So I had to go get blood work done and the wait was forever! So I'm going back to work tomorrow. I will have my long term sub there with me so she can get answers to any questions she has. My doctor says any signs of preeclampsia and I'm back on bed rest. I turned into my school district my leave of absence request for maternity leave to start on Feb. 2nd. So I have these 2 days and then next week before going on maternity leave. I think I should be okay. Carson has been doing well. I haven't had any signs of going into labor anytime soon, so it's just a waiting game now to see when Carson is ready to be born. Since he's been measuring 2 weeks earlier I don't know if that means he'll come 2 weeks earlier than my due date. So now I try to wait patiently for his arrival.

Dr. Appointment Update
I haven't been on here for awhile with the holidays and then started back to work. I had my doctor appointment today though and thought I should update everyone on how things are going. My appointments are now weekly, which is great! At my appointment today I had high blood pressure. So for precautions again, they wanted me to go to triage after my appointment. My doctor also put me on bed rest for a week until my next doctor appointment where they reevaluate me. While at triage they took my blood pressure every 15 minutes and took blood work. Once again, blood pressure is great at triage and blood work came back great. They gave me an ultrasound too while at triage to see if the baby was still measuring big. Carson is still measuring 2 weeks earlier. He is now about 6lbs they said. They did a 3D on his face and he just looks SO CUTE! He is now looking more like a baby. He has chubby cheeks and is just so adorable! I can't wait to really see him and hold him. So now I will be at home resting and just waiting anxiously for Carson to come. Oh, I actually felt contractions for the first time today too while at triage. I was never really sure how they feel since this is our first baby. But when I was hooked to the monitor the doctor was saying that I am contracting some. So now every time I feel a contraction I need to start timing it. I'll scan the picture of Carson tomorrow and post it. But for now, I'm exhausted and ready for bed.
