Exhausted

This week was a crazy week for me. I started my day by getting up at 4:30 a.m. to get ready to go to my school. Travis and I carpooled to Queen Creek this week and had to leave the house by 5:30 a.m. to get to his work on time. I would drop him off and then head to my school. We were having meetings to discuss how we wanted our student handbook and staff handbook. We also looked over our school map to see what duties we would need. I also got to get some stuff done in my room. I was mainly unpacking all my files and transferring them into smaller folders that would fit the file cabinet. So after my long day at school, I would go pick up Travis and 4pm so we could get back to the house. By the time I got home I would have enough time to eat dinner and then get my things ready for VBS. I taught the 1st and 2nd grade class for VBS. When VBS was over and I got the room cleaned up, it was about 9pm when I got home. So I was super exhausted. I did this M-Th and then on Friday I didn't go to school. I had a doctors appointment to go over my blood work and ultrasound. She said everything is looking good. So I have to schedule an appointment to get another ultrasound done around 12 weeks so they can do a test to test down syndrome on the baby. So that was my crazy week. Next week I start work officially. I have our staff developments & trainings to go to and they will also give time in our rooms to get it ready. I can't believe my summer is over!
