Super Busy

Since I've gone back to work I've been super busy! All my extra time is spent with Carson and cooking dinner. I miss having the whole day with him. I haven't been taking as many pics since I've been back to work either. *sigh* Well I have 5 more weeks of school then summer will be here! Shannon (my sister-n-law) will be with us for 3 weeks watching Carson for us during the day. That is a huge relief!!! It's nice having family being able to be with him while mommy & daddy are at work.

Carson had his 2 month appointment and weighs 13 lbs 10 oz!!! He is getting so big! He is such a cutie though and a trooper. He had to get 2 shots, one in each leg. The first shot he did a little cry and then stopped, but the 2nd shot surprised him and he let out a big cry...poor baby. He did pretty well while at home though and was smiling again, so that was nice. Carson is holding is head up on his own for long periods of time. He does pretty good on his tummy, but doesn't like to stay on it for too long. He is still exploring his hands and loves to suck on them! He does a lot of cooing and likes to have 'conversations'. He likes to smile as well and sometimes lets out a little giggle. Here are some pics of him while family from Ohio was visiting and some other photos.

Here are some more pictures I've taken of Carson. He just keeps growing everyday and getting bigger and bigger. Next week is my last week home before going back to work. I'm going to miss playing with him and seeing all his cute expressions and hearing his gurgles.

Zoo Trip

We went to the Phoenix Zoo today! My class was taking a field trip there today so we decided to take Carson to the zoo too. He did pretty well! He got fussy a couple of times, but it was only because he was hungry. So we found a spot to sit and feed him while watching animals. We had to go into the family restroom too to change his diaper. It was a big mess and we had to change him into his extra outfit! He slept most of the time while we were there, but it was nice to get out and get some fresh air.

One month tomorrow

Carson will be one month tomorrow! I'm still adjusting and trying to recover still! My body is not fully back to normal yet which stinks. Carson has his good days and bad days. Sometimes ... ha, I just have to say I totally forgot I was doing this. I got up because Carson was crying and then ended up doing other things around the house. I just sat down to look up where Travis and I have seen this guy from a movie and saw that this was up. Well, while I have time, I'm putting some more recent pics up of Carson.

Busy Busy Busy

While Carson is napping, I have little time to post more pics and give an update. Things have been going well. Carson's last feeding is usually around 11:30-12 and he sleeps until about 4am. So we've been getting some sleep at night. Being up that late was never really that late for me and I could be up just fine. Now I'm exhausted at that time and it's hard being up. This past week my mom and Abuelita stayed with us to help us with Carson. She has been a BIG help! Today they left and now Travis and I are on our own. So far today has been going pretty good. Getting through the night is going to be tough though since my mom helped out a lot. Carson had his check-up on Tuesday and his pediatrician said he looks great. He gained 4 oz. and I'm sure he's gained more since his check-up. He has another appt. next Tuesday. Here are a few more pictures to share.

It was actually cold in Arizona for a few days. We bundled him up to go out. His coat is too big for him, but he doesn't seem to mind.
